Denise Yaffe and Lisa Murdock are children’s authors. They are writing the Earth Kids Environmental Superheroes, environmental fiction series.
Lisa and Denise share their passion for the environment. “Through ecological and environmental science fiction, we have the opportunity to educate our youth about creating a sustainable lifestyle, with clean water and air, biodiversity, and environmental justice.”
Earth Kids are environmental superheroes with powers to clean up contaminants in the air, water, and soil caused by pollution. Their mission is to create a green environment. They teach communities how to protect the environment with its biodiversity through more sustainable life choices. Earth Kids will become a series of books addressing various important environmental issues. These books are exciting, fun, and educational for children from ages 8 through 12.
Lisa Murdock
Lisa Murdock is a new author with over 25 years of experience in environmental compliance. Lisa has a BS and MS in chemistry. She has published in professional society journals and national conference proceedings. Lisa knows the science and wants to share it at this time of environmental peril.
Denise Yaffe
Denise Yaffe is a new author and illustrator of children’s books. She is from California and has a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Denise has 30 years of environmental experience in compliance, remediation, and sustainability. She has written and published technical papers for various peer-reviewed journals such as Risk Analysis, J. Chemical Information Computer Science, and Industrial Engineering Chemistry Research. Denise is currently writing and illustrating the Earth Kids series of books addressing various important environmental issues.
